The warning, issued by BMKG (the Indonesian Bureau of Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics), covers most of southern Bali, including Denpasar, Kuta and Ubud. Heavy rainfall of 100–150 mm in 24 hours is expected, with potential for landslips in hilly areas. Afternoon thunderstorms are likely, often persisting into the evening.
